About Maisha Kara

Maisha Kara Children Foundation ( formerly” Maisha Kara Trust”) is a non profit, faith based organization. It was registered on the 4th of September 2008 as Company Limited by Guarantee. The name “Maisha Kara” is a combination of the Swahili word, “Maisha” which mean life and Hebrew word “Kara” which means joy. The name of the Foundation was coined to capture the founders’ aspiration to put joy back into lives of children and especially within rural communities.

We intervene at an early age to instill leadership and character values to primary going children(6-14yrs) using the word of God as the basis.

We influence the worldview of children by introducing a paradigm shift that support principle centered way of life.
